Head Coach Stan Joplin:
"Obviously we were a little bit shorthanded without Nick Moore. I thought we turned the ball over too much and I thought that was a big difference. Bowling Green played well and you have to give them a lot of credit. Matela played big and I thought we had a little life when McLeod got in foul trouble."
On Nick Moore not playing:
"We thought Nick could play and then he couldn't go. Hopefully, he can come back and play against Central Michigan."
On Len Matela scoring 28 points:
We couldn't control Matela and he's played well against us. We really didn't have an answer for him and then they started getting offensive rebounds."
Sophomore guard Terry Reynolds
On picking up his fourth foul:
"When I caught the ball, their player just flopped. I didn't even get a chance to put the ball or my feet down. We were gaining momentum at that time and that kind of changed the game."
On Nick Moore not playing:
"Nick helps our team a lot. He helps us have good spacing because teams have to respect his outside shooting. He also can run the point and we can swap positions sometimes. We missed him and hopefully he'll get healthy so he can help us win our next game."
On his hot start in the second half:
"I got myself involved coming out aggressive in the second half and the team was kind of feeding off that. After the foul was called, it changed the game for us."
On suffering his first loss to Bowling Green as a Rocket:
"I hate losing to BG, and I'm quite sure they hate losing to us. Hopefully, when we go to our place we can get them and even it up."
On Len Matela scoring 28 points:
"Matela had a great game. He's a good player and we're not the only team he's done this to. Next time we play them maybe we'll have a different look for him. Hopefully we can control him a lot better than we did this game."
