"I thought we were in position to win. We just didn't make the plays down the stretch. I thought our kids competed and we had our chances but just couldn't knock our shots down."

"David Webber and Tim Kisner stepped up and hit some big shots when they needed them. You just have to give them credit for doing that. When you have experienced guards that makes a big difference."

"We just have to put this game behind us and get ready for Saturday's game vs. Western Michigan."

Robierre Cullars:

"It's pretty depressing. You go into the other team's gym and play hard and hopefully you can come out with a win. We just came up a little bit short. CMU played real hard also, hit the big shots and we didn't."

Craig Rodgers:

"It's a real tough loss. You have two teams out there playing their hardest. We fought every possession. To lose on the last possession is kind of tough."
