Junior guard honored for first time in Rocket career
TOLEDO, Ohio – Junior Sonny Wilson of the University of Toledo men's basketball program has been named to the 2025-26 Academic All-Mid-American Conference Men's Basketball Team, the league office announced on Monday.
Wilson possesses a 3.262 grade-point average in management and is being honored for the first time in his Rocket career.
The Academic All-MAC honor is for student-athletes who have at least a 3.20 cumulative GPA and have participated in at least 50 percent of the contests in their sport during a season. Freshmen and transfers in their first year at a MAC institution are not eligible for the award.
