Sean Craig Named to CSC Academic All-District Team

Senior led Rockets with 7.3 rpg and earned spot on MAC All-Tournament Team
TOLEDO, Ohio – Senior Sean Craig was named to the College Sports Communicators' Academic All-District Team, it was announced on Tuesday. Craig also received the academic honor last year at IU-Indy.
A Sylvania, Ohio native with a 3.69 grade-point average, Craig led the Rockets with 7.3 rpg and ranked third on team with 11.6 ppg and 24 double-digit point outings. He also was named to the Mid-American Conference All-Tournament Team after averaging 11.7 ppg, a team-high 6.7 rpg, and 46.2 3FG% (6-of-13) while helping UT advance to the MAC Championship Game. Craig registered a team-high seven double-doubles, including a 15-point, 11-rebound effort vs. UMass in the MAC semifinals. He also served as a representative on the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC).
The Academic All-District distinction recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their performances on the field and in the classroom. To qualify, student-athletes must have a 3.5 cumulative GPA and compete in at least 90% or start at least 66% of their institution's games.
