Toledo shot a season-high 86.4 percent (19 of 22) from the free throw line. CMU entered the game shooting 74.0 percent from the charity stripe but was only able to convert 12 of 22 (54.5) percent of its attempts.
CMU shot 60.5 percent vs. UT, the second time this season it accomplished this feat. The Chippewas are the only team to accomplish this vs. the Rockets this season.
CMU's win snapped an eight-game win streak for UT at Rose Arena.
Senior guard Rory Jones matched his career high for rebounds by leading the Rockets for the second straight game with seven boards.
