Women's Volleyball Loses at Eastern Michigan, 3-0

YPSILANTI, MI - Toledo (16-10, 9-8 MAC) dropped a 3-0 (30-25, 30-24, 30-21) decision to Eastern Michigan (19-9, 11-7 MAC) tonight at the Convocation Center.

The loss drops the Rockets into a tie for the No. 7 seed with Western Michigan in the MAC Tournament, which begins on Tuesday, Nov. 20. UT and WMU (9-9 MAC) lead Ohio (8-9 MAC) and Kent State (8-9 MAC) by one game each for the seventh and eighth seed.

On Saturday, UT will travel to Bowling Green, WMU will host Northern Illinois and Kent State hosts Akron. Ohio concludes its regular season on Sunday at Buffalo.

Junior Heidi Neumeister paced the Rockets offensive with 10 kills, while junior Jessica Buck added eight kills.

On the defensive end, juniors Bitsy Mayhle and Becky Radomski led the way with 10 digs apiece. Sophomore Carrie McCaw and Buck each posted a team-high three blocks.
