Toledo, OH - The University of Toledo men's and women's track teams will host the Toledo Invitational Track Meet this Friday and Saturday, May 5-6 at the UT Track.

Approximately 30 universities and track clubs will participate in the meet. Field events get underway on Friday at 11:30 a.m. and run through the afternoon. The field events will resume at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. Running events begin with the 10,000 meters at 10:00 a.m. and Saturday and conclude with the 4x400 relay at approximatley 6:00 p.m.

Toledo will be attempting to qualify more athletes forthe NCAA Championships (May 31-June 3, Durham, NC). So far this season, two Rockets, Katherine Smyth and Emily Loroupe, have qualified for the NCAAs, both in the 10,000 meters.
