Sophomore Sonny Wilson is Toledo's Male Athlete of the Year after leading the Rockets to a road win in their MAC opener with 20 points, seven rebounds and five assists in a 76-70 victory over Western Michigan.
Wilson was efficient offensively, knocking down 7-of-11 shots and hitting two of his three three-point attempts.
