Jen Cummings is in her fourth year as an assistant athletic trainer with the University of Toledo. Cummings is assigned to women's basketball, women's soccer and softball.
Cummings completed her bachelor's degree at the University of Missouri in 2000, majoring in nutrition and fitness. She was certified by the NATABOC, Inc. and licensed by the State of Ohio the same year. She is also a master's degree candidate in the exercise science program with a specialization in biomechanics at Toledo.
Cummings was the recipient of the 2000 Mid-America Athletic Trainer's Association (District V) Post-Graduate Scholarship and the Dr. Glenn L. McElroy Award for positive attitude and effective athletic training room leadership. Cummings is a member of the National Athletic Trainers Association and the Great Lakes Athletic Trainers Association.
She was born in Kansas City, MO, where her parents and four younger brothers reside.
