Giselle Guasso was named athletic trainer at the University of Toledo in August of 2023. Guasso works primarily with the football and women’s tennis programs.
Prior to joining the Toledo Sports Medicine Staff, Guasso was a graduate assistant at the University of Indianapolis where she had clinical placements with athletic departments at the University of Indianapolis (baseball, football, and wrestling), University of Michigan (water polo and swim/dive), Marian University (football), and Butler University (football, women's basketball, and women's lacrosse) while also assisting at Decatur Central High School and Perry Meridian High school.
A native of Chicago, Ill., Guasso graduated from Grand Valley State University in 2021 with a degree in B.S. Exercise Science with a CES emphasis. Guasso also earned a Master of Science in Athletic Training degree from the University of Indianapolis in 2023.
