Poonthong Komolpisut picked up his third singles win of the season against Butler
INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. / BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – The Toledo men's tennis team dropped a pair of non-conference matches on Sunday, falling to Butler, 4-3, and Indiana, 4-0.
Against Butler, the Rockets picked up the doubles point with wins on the No. 1 court by Cole Cozens and Charlie Snow and by Joshua Mackey and Alejandro Gonzalez on the No. 3 court.
In singles play, Poonthong Komolpisut picked up a straight set win on the No. 1 court while Cole Cozens tallied a 2-6, 7-6 (7-5), 6-3 win on the No. 3 court to round out singles wins against the Bulldogs.
In the nightcap against Indiana, the Hoosiers started off strong by grabbing the doubles point with wins on the No. 2 and No. 3 courts. Indiana went into singles play and earned straight set wins on the No. 3, 4 and 6 courts to clinch the match. Komolpisut earned a first set win, 6-3 but his match on the No. 1 court went unfinished.

Toledo returns home for a pair of matches on Friday, Feb. 13. The Rockets will host Youngstown State at 1:00 p.m. and Wayne State at 7:00 p.m.
