TOLEDO, Ohio – The Toledo men's tennis team grabbed wins over Cleveland State and Eastern Illinois at Shadow Valley Tennis Club on Saturday. The victories helped Toledo remain undefeated (5-0) at its home venue this season.

Toledo (5-4) won the doubles points in both matches behind undefeated outings from the pairings of Charlie Snow/Matias Olivero and Hanamichi Carvajal/Joshua Mackey. The Rockets recorded 6-1 wins on both the No. 2 and 3 courts against Cleveland State. Against Eastern Illinois, Snow and Olivero took a 6-2 victory on the No. 2 court while Carvajal and Mackey earned a 7-5 win on the No. 3 court.

Olivero grabbed two singles wins on Saturday, claiming straight set victories against his opponents from Cleveland State and Eastern Illinois on the No. 3 singles courts. Olivero's victory clinched match point against the Panthers. Komolpisut earned two wins on the day, including a three-set tiebreaker on the No. 2 court to clinch match point for Toledo against Cleveland State.

Hanamichi Carvajal tallied a win on the No. 1 court against Cleveland State, 6-4, 6-2, while Lucas Britez took a straight set victory on the No. 4 court in the match against Eastern Illinois.
