Sonny Wilson scored a career-high 23 points and sophomore
Sam Lewis added 21 points, but it wasn't enough in a 92-80 defeat to Miami in Millett Hall. The defeat ended the Rockets' Mid-American Conference record 22-game winning streak against the RedHawks and left Toledo (15-9, 8-3 MAC) in third place in the league standings.
Kam Craft led Miami (19-5, 10-1 MAC) with a career-high 40 points thanks to 9-of-14 shooting from behind the three-point arc.

"I refused to talk about it until now, but it's a remarkable accomplishment. We haven't lost to Miami since my first season in 2010-11. We've done a lot of things that haven't been done in the history of the league, like 20 straight conference wins and winning four consecutive MAC titles."

- FIRST HALF: Kam Craft scored the game's first basket with a three-point field goal and Miami took its first double-digit lead at 18-8 with 12:16 left in the half. The RedHawks led 45-30 at the break. Isaiah Adams and Sonny Wilson each scored eight points to lead the Rockets.
- SECOND HALF: Toledo shot 51.7% in the second half with Wilson making all six of his shot attempts. The Rockets rallied to within 54-42 on Sam Lewis' layup forcing Miami to take a timeout with 14:03 to play.
