PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – The University of Toledo Women's Rowing team competed in its second collegiate regatta at the Head of the Schuylkill on the Schuylkill River in Philadelphia, Pa., one of the largest and oldest rowing competitions in the nation.

The Rockets competed against over a dozen collegiate programs, including Pittsburgh, Villanova, Pennsylvania and Temple.

Toledo fielded three boats in the women's college novice 8+ race, two boats in the women's championship open 4+ race and one boat in the novice open 4+ race.

"The team had a great day across the board. Being our inaugural fall, we are working to stay present as a squad, mindful of our faults while illuminating our strengths.
