Rockets set to compete in second-ever season
TOLEDO, Ohio – Toledo women's rowing head coach Chris Bailey-Greene announced the program's 2026-27 schedule today. This marks the second-ever season of competition for the Toledo rowing team.
The Rockets will open competition by hosting their second-consecutive Glass City Regatta on Saturday, Sept. 19 on the Maumee River. Events begin at 9 a.m. and continue throughout the day.
Toledo will then head to Pittsburgh, Pa. for the Yinzer Cup on Saturday, Oct. 17 before competing at the Head of the Schuylkill in Philadelphia, Pa. on Saturday, Oct. 24. The team will conclude fall competition at the Bald Eagle Collegiate on Saturday, Nov. 7 in Indianapolis, Ind.
The Midnight Blue and Gold's spring season will begin on Saturday, April 3 with the Lubbers Cup in Grand Rapids, Mich. before heading to the SIRA Championship Regatta in Oak Ridge, Tenn. on Saturday-Sunday, April 17-18. The regular season concludes with a contest against Eastern Michigan and Dayton on Saturday, May 1 in Ypsilanti, Mich.
The 2027 Mid-American Conference Championship is set for Saturday, May 15 in Ypsilanti, Mich. The winner will receive an automatic bid to the NCAA Championship.
