CLEVELAND, Ohio – Toledo quarterback
Tucker Gleason earned another accolade with his selection as the Mid-American Conference Scholar-Athlete of the Week, the league office announced on Thursday.

Gleason completed 26-of-50 passes for a career-high 336 yards and two passing touchdowns and added a rushing score on 34 yards in Toledo's thrilling 48-46 six-overtime victory over Pitt in the in GameAbove Sports Bowl last week. The victory came in the longest bowl game in NCAA FBS history.

The junior holds a 3.401 GPA and is majoring in Computer Science and Engineering Technology. He was an Academic All-MAC selection last season.

The MAC Scholar-Athlete of the Week is presented to a MAC male and female student-athlete with a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better who has a worthy performance during that week's competition. Schools can nominate one male and one female athlete for each week. The winners are selected by a group of the conference's faculty athletic representatives.

Gleason's selection, along with women's basketball's Jessica Cook pick as MAC Female Scholar-Athlete of the Week gave Toledo a sweep in this week's scholar-athlete awards.

Toledo finished the season 8-5 with victories over two Power Four opponents in Mississippi State and Pitt.
