TOLEDO, Ohio – The Toledo women's soccer team will close the non-conference portion of its 2024 schedule on Sunday, Sept. 15 against Ohio Dominican at Paul Hotmer Field. First kick is set for 2:00 p.m. on ESPN+.
 
The Rockets split last week's matches against Loyola Chicago and Oakland, both on the road. The Rockets fell to the Ramblers, 2-1 on Thursday but rebounded for a 1-0 victory against the Golden Grizzlies.
 
Toledo enters Sunday's contest 1-1 at home with a 3-2 defeat to Cincinnati on Aug. 18 and a 1-0 victory over Detroit Mercy on Aug. 30.

Finding Goals in the Final 45
  • Of its six goals this season, Toledo has found five in the second half.
  • Furthermore, three goals have come in the final 15 minutes. The latest goal in the final 15 minutes was junior Alli MacBeth's game-winner in at Oakland, scored in the 78th minute.
  • The Rockets have either tied the game or taken the lead on four of its five second-half goals this season.
Close Contests Continue
  • All six of Toledo's contests thus far have been a draw or a one-goal game. Toledo had last played its first six games in within a goal in 2013.
  • From the Mid-American Conference, only Toledo and Akron have played every game within one goal this season entering play this week.
Of Note
  • Senior Chloe Tadolini earned the assist on MacBeth's goal against Oakland to give her three for the season. She enters the week tied for third in the MAC in assists.
  • The Rockets have scored first in three consecutive games. Toledo is 2-1 this season when scoring first and 0-2-1 when allowing the first goal.
  • Five different players have scored UT's goals this season. Three have come from freshmen – two from Gabrielle Anulare against Cincinnati and one from Morgan Spitler at Loyola Chicago.
