Marko Galic clinched match point to exact the Toledo men's tennis team's revenge over Northern Illinois on Sunday in a 6-1 victory over the Huskies at the UT Varsity Tennis Courts. The Rockets have won three straight matches and improved to 11-10 overall with a 6-3 league mark with one final regular-season match to play.
The Rockets lost to the Huskies (17-4, 6-2 MAC) by the same margin on March 24 in DeKalb, Ill.
Toledo started the match with a strong performance in doubles play, taking the top two courts in 45 minutes to take a 1-0 match lead. JuniorĀ
Hanamichi Carvajal took the No. 3 court from Saul Berdullas in two sets, and seniorĀ
Pawit Sornlaksup won the top court in two sets to set up Galic for the clincher.

Cole Cozens lost his first set to Iker Gazrambide Arrastia 6-2, won the second set by the same margin, but could not hold up in the tiebreaker to fall 6-1 and drop the No. 4 court.

Matias Olivero returned to the No. 6 spot and defeated Christopher Norlin in two sets to put UT ahead 5-1 in the match. Freshman
Poonthong Komolpisut was taken to a super tiebreaker on the No. 5 court after winning 7-5 in the opener, falling 6-1 in the second, and ending the match with a 10-8 victory.
Toledo will honor its senior class at its final home match of the year vs. Buffalo on Saturday, April 13.
