TOLEDO, Ohio – The Toledo women's soccer team will play two important late-season matches at home against Western Michigan on Thursday, Oct. 24 and on the road at Northern Illinois on Sunday, Oct. 27.

Thursday's match will begin at 7:00 p.m. from Paul Hotmer Field and Sunday's will begin at 2:00 p.m. ET/1:00 p.m. CT. Thursday's match will air on BCSN and ESPN+.

Toledo (6-6-3, 3-3-2 – 11 pts.) earned a key 1-0 victory against first-place Ohio on Oct. 17 and have won consecutive matches for the second time this season. Toledo's goal came from

Agnes Stenlund made eight saves, including three in the final two minutes to preserve the victory. The Rockets are tied with Kent State and Bowling Green for the final two MAC Tournament spots and one point behind Central Michigan for a quarterfinal-hosting fourth place.

The Broncos (8-1-6, 5-0-3 – 18 pts.) defeated Akron 2-0 at home last Thursday. WMU is in first place and the last undefeated team in conference matches.

The Huskies (8-4-4, 2-3-3 – 9 pts.) defeated Eastern Michigan 2-1 in DeKalb on Friday. NIU is tied for eighth in the conference standings, two points behind the Rockets.

Agnes Stenlund Earns MAC Defensive Player of the Week
- Junior Agnes Stenlund earned the Mid-American Conference Defensive Player of the Week award for the second time this season, as announced on Tuesday.
- Stenlund's eight-save shutout against Ohio marked a season high in saves and was also the most saves made in a shutout in Stenlund's career.
