TOLEDO, Ohio – The Toledo women's soccer team plays two important Mid-American Conference matches this week, beginning with a road game at Ball State on Thursday, Sept. 28 at 4:00 p.m. The Rockets will then kick off at Paul Hotmer Field vs. Central Michigan at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 1.

Toledo (3-4-2, 0-1-1 MAC) opened conference play with a 2-0 loss to rival Bowling Green on Thursday. The shutout ended a seven-match scoring streak for the Rockets. On Sunday, UT held a 1-0 lead on a goal at the 29

Mia Leonetti before Northern Illinois scored the equalizer with less than three minutes on the clock and ended up in a 1-1 draw.
Toledo leads the MAC with a 1.667 scoring average and has 15 goals this year. Senior
Madison Medalle tops the league with six goals. Senior
Grace Turski leads UT with 21 total shots (ninth in MAC), while
Olivia Dault has 11 shots on goal (sixth in MAC).
Scouting the Competition
Ball State (3-5-1, 1-0-1 MAC) recorded a 3-1 win over Miami and drew 1-1 at Eastern Michigan to open MAC play last weekend. The Cardinals rank second in the conference with a 1.556 scoring average and have netted 14 goals. Lexi Fraley leads all players with 32 shots and 14 on target, while Avery Fenchel leads BSU with five goals (MAC #3).
Central Michigan (2-2-3, 1-1-0 MAC) split its conference opener weekend, falling 1-0 to EMU before topping Miami 2-1. Allison LaPoint leads all conference goalkeepers with 35 saves (.833 SA%) averaging 5.83 saves per game.
The Rockets trail 10-13-2 in the all-time history with the Cardinals and have an 8-11-8 record when matched up with the Chippewas.
