OXFORD, Ohio – The Toledo softball team closed out its three-game series with defending conference champion Miami with a pair of losses on Wednesday afternoon. The Rockets were run-ruled 12-4 (5 inn.) in the opening game before falling 6-4 in the nightcap.

Sophia Knight lasted 4.0 innings on the mound and gave up eight runs against the Redhawks in the Game 1 loss. Â
Erin Hunt threw four strikeouts in 6.0 innings in Game 2 and gave up four hits in defeat.
Kroll's homer was her fourth of the season and 15
