Fifty-four hole tournament will consist of 18 holes on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday
TOLEDO, Ohio - The Toledo men's golf team is traveling to Jonesborough, Tenn. this weekend for the first of back-to-back tournaments over the next two weeks. The Rockets will be competing in East Tennessee State's Bank of Tennessee Intercollegiate on Sunday-Tuesday, Oct. 8-10.

The tournament will be held at the par-72, 7,118-yard Blackthorn Club with tee times starting at 8:30 a.m. each day.
The Field
The Rockets will be competing against a 15-team field that includes Augusta, Charlotte, Coastal Carolina, College of Charleston, ETSU, FGCU, Furman, Georgia Southern, Louisiana Tech, Liberty, Loyola Marymount, Penn State, Rutgers, and Virginia Tech.
This Week's Lineup
Toledo's lineup will include senior Barend Botha at No. 1, senior Jamie Tofte Nielsen at No. 2, junior NJ Botha at No. 3, senior Palmer Yenrick at No. 4, and sophomore Mads Jensen at No. 5. Junior CJ van Wyk is competing as an individual for the Rockets.
Barend Botha is leading the Rockets with a 69.3 stroke average and is followed by NJ Botha (70.3) and Nielsen (71.5). Yenrick ranks fourth on the team with a 73.2 mark, and Jenen is fifth with a 74.0 figure.
Last Time Out
Barend Botha continued his strong start to the season by tying for eighth place at nine-under par 207 to lead the Rockets in the VCU Shootout in their most recent action on Sept. 18-19. The Rockets finished in a ninth-place tie in the team standings at 15-under par after shooting a nine-under par 279 in the final round.

NJ Botha tied for 19th place at five-under par 211 (70-72-69), while Jamie Tofte Nielsen tied for 33rd place with a two-under par 214 (73-70-71).
Up Next
Toledo will return to action next week when it travels to Vero Beach, Fla. for the Quail Valley Collegiate Invitational on Oct. 15-16.
