TOLEDO, Ohio – The Toledo women's soccer team (7-8-2, 4-5-1 MAC) will visit first-place Western Michigan (11-3-3, 7-0-3 MAC) this Thursday, Oct. 26 with a MAC Tournament spot potentially on the line.
With one more game left in the regular season, UT currently sits in seventh place in the conference standings with 13 points. The Rockets need a win at WMU and also need sixth-place Buffalo (7-4-6, 4-3-3- MAC) to lose to Kent State to secure their spot into the postseason. The top six teams will begin with the tournament's quarterfinal matches on Sunday, Oct. 29.

Brielle Young has stopped 76 shots (sixth in MAC) and is averaging 4.75 (fourth in MAC) saves per game.
Scouting the Competition
Western Michigan took down the Golden Flashes and the Bulls last week to remain undefeated in league play. The Broncos are averaging 1.882 goals per game, led by Jen Blitchok who has seven goals (sixth in MAC) this year. Keeper Lauren Boafo leads the league with a 0.765 goals-against average and has nine shutouts.
