Toledo Defeated at Home by Michigan, 7-2

TOLEDO, Ohio – Toledo (1-3-2) was on the losing end of a 7-2 decision to visiting Big Ten Michigan (5-2-1) Sunday afternoon at Paul Hotmer Field.

Michigan struck first and held a 1-0 lead at halftime, but Toledo answered with a goal two minutes into the second half to tie the score at 1-1. Mia Leonetti tapped in the equalizer goal off a rebound in front of Michigan's goalie Katherine McElroy at the 47-minute.
 
The Wolverines took back the lead, 2-1, at the 51st-minute and then added two more in a span of three minutes before Toledo scored again. Morgan Otteson carried the ball down midfield with two defenders on her tail to make cut Toledo's deficit  to 4-2.
 
The Wolverines then scored three goals in the final 10 minutes of play to bring the final to 7-2.
