TOLEDO, Ohio – The Toledo men's tennis team blanked Ball State, 7-0 at Shadow Valley Tennis Club in its first Mid-American Conference home match this season. The Rockets improved to 9-6 and 2-1 in MAC play with the victory.

Marko Galic and Pawit Sornlaksup clinched their sixth-straight doubles victory on the No. 1 court to open the match. Luka Jankovic and Adam Kovac secured the doubles point for the Rockets in a 7-6(4) victory over Vince Orlando/ Parrish Simmons (BSU) on the No. 3 court.

The Rockets started out singles competition by winning the first set on all six courts. Junior Krzysztof Wetoszka was trailing 4-5 to Nathaniel Webster on the No. 2 court, and came back to win his first set 7-5. Wetoszka won his second set 6-4 for the match win. Sophomore Pawit Sornlaksup's victory over Thibault de Negri on the No. 1 court marked his 13th-straight singles win and third straight MAC win. Junior Luka Jankovic clinched the match for the Rockets on the No. 5 court in two sets.

Toledo will be back in action when it hosts Buffalo on Friday, March 25 and Binghamton on Sunday, March 27. Both matches are scheduled to be played at the UT Varsity Courts.
