HOLLISTER, Mo. – The Toledo women's golf team is tied for second place and three Rockets are tied for seventh in the individual standings following Monday's opening round of the Ozarks National Invitational at the par-72, 6,107-yard Ozarks National Club.

Senior Amelia Lee, junior Angel Hii and freshman Reese Jansa each carded three-over par 75's in today's action. Junior Macy Hanus is tied for 28^th place after shooting a 78, while senior Claudia Sampson is tied for 65^th place with an 86.  

Jansa registered a team-high five birdies for UT, with Hanus tallying four.

Junior Kaitlyn Natividad is competing as an individual and tied for 30^th place after shooting a 79.

The Rockets are tied with South Dakota at 15-over par 303 and trail tournament leader Wichita State by just a single stroke. Omaha's Sydney Taake was the only individual to shoot under par with a one-under par 71.

The tournament's second round will be played tomorrow with the final round taking place on Wednesday.
