TOLEDO, Ohio – A pair of University of Toledo men's basketball home games in January have been selected to be televised nationally on the CBS Sports Network, the Mid-American Conference office announced today.

The Rockets' contest at Ohio on Friday, Jan. 21 and home matchup vs. Akron on Friday, Jan. 28 were chosen as part of the league's national television package. Toledo's game vs. the Bobcats will tip off at 6:00 p.m. with the contest vs. the Zips set for a 7:00 p.m. tipoff.
Toledo may have more national television contests later in the conference campaign with all MAC TV games in February and early March being announced as 21-day wild-card selections.Â

Tod Kowalczyk has guided the Rockets to five 20-win campaigns in the last eight years. Toledo captured the MAC title last year, posting an overall record of 21-9 with a school-record 15-4 mark in league play. In addition, Toledo earned its 10
th all-time NIT berth.

The Rockets return three starters with MAC Freshman of the Year
Ryan Rollins (13.7 ppg, 5.2 rpg) leading the way. Juniors
Setric Millner Jr. (12.9 ppg, 6.8 rpg),
JT Shumate (11.3 ppg, 4.4 rpg) and
Keshaun Saunders (6.8 ppg) are also back. Six freshmen are joining the team, along with Boise State transfer
RayJ Dennis (8.6 ppg, 2.9 apg).
