TOLEDO, Ohio - Toledo will look to rebound from a pair of one-goal setbacks last week when it travels to Oxford, Ohio for a matchup vs. Miami before returning home to host Ball State. The Rockets (7-3-2, 2-2-0 MAC) will take on the RedHawks (6-3-3, 3-1-0 MAC) on Thursday, Oct. 7 at 4:00 p.m. Toledo will then host the Cardinals (4-5-1, 2-1-1 MAC) on Sunday, Oct. 10 at 1:00 p.m. with streaming on ESPN3.
The Rockets suffered back-to-back defeats for the first time this season last week with a 2-1 (OT) loss to Kent State and a 1-0 setback at Ohio. Toledo is allowing a MAC-low 0.50 goals per game and have registered a conference-high seven shutouts. Freshman

RedHawks Update (6-3-3)
Miami saw its five-game winning and nine-game unbeaten streak end with Sunday's 2-1 home loss to Buffalo. The RedHawks' three MAC victories have come vs. CMU (1-0), at EMU (2-1) and at Akron (3-0). Sophomore Haley Anspach paces Miami with five assists and nine points. Sophomore Julia Hoffman has scored a team-best four goals with senior Kristina DeMarco and freshman Makenna Morrison netting three apiece. Senior Izzie Vaccari (6-3-3) ranks second in the MAC with a 0.78 GAA and fifth with .762 SV%.Â
Cardinals Update (4-5-1)
Ball State bounced back from a 2-1 loss at Buffalo last Thursday by scoring three goals in a four-minute span in the second half of a 3-1 home victory over Akron. The Cardinals will host defending MAC champion Bowling Green on Thursday prior to visiting the Glass City. Senior Chelcy Ralph leads BSU with four goals and eight points. Freshman Lexi Fraley and senior Nicky Potts are the Cardinals' only other multi-goal scorers with two apiece. Senior Alex DeRuvo (4-5-1) has posted a 1.69 GAA and .660 SV% in goal.

Emma Boutorwick has been stellar in goal for the Rockets this season. Boutorwick has six shutouts through the first 12 games and ranks 13th nationally with a 0.48 GAA and 17th with an .872 saves percentage. Boutorwick was named the MAC Defensive Player of the Week each of the first two weeks of the season.
