TOLEDO, Ohio - The University of Toledo will host a pep rally at 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday to kick off "Rocket Week" leading into the Rockets' Homecoming football game on Saturday, Oct. 9. The Rockets host MAC West Division rival Northern Illinois at noon.
The pep rally will be on the UToledo campus at Centennial Mall in front of the Student Union. University President Gregory Postel and Head Coach

Also appearing at the pep rally will be student-athletes from the football, women's soccer and women's volleyball teams. Performing will be the UToledo Marching Band, cheerleaders and the Dancing Rockettes.
As part of Rocket Week, Rocket fans are asked to fly their UToledo flags all week leading up to the big game. Fans are also reminded to wear their Midnight Blue and Gold Rocket gear on Rocket Thursdays.
The annual Homecoming Parade will begin on campus at 8:00 a.m. Saturday and make its way through the adjacent Old Orchard neighborhood.
