Freshman Emeka Okafor, Jr. Granted Release from Scholarship

Freshman forward Emeka Okafor, Jr. has been granted a release from his scholarship and will be transferring, Toledo Head Coach Gene Cross announced on Monday. A Brooklyn Park, MN native, Okafor saw action in six of 13 games this year and averaged 1.8 points and 2.7 rebounds per game while playing 11.3 minutes per contest.
