TOLEDO, Ohio – Jillian Lehman has been promoted to the position of Assistant Director for Student-Athlete Academic Services (SAAS) at the University of Toledo, Associate Director for Academic Services Tony Belt announced on Tuesday. Lehman, who previously served as athletic academic coordinator and coordinator for student-athlete development,  will serve as the Director of Football as well as oversee women's basketball and other sports.
"I could not be more excited for Jillian in her new role," stated Belt. "From the day I arrived on the University of Toledo's campus, I could tell Jillian had what it took for this position. In recent semesters, she has taken on many new roles for our Student-Athlete Academic Services department to ensure that all student-athletes had the resources they needed to succeed. Our athletic department and student-athletes are lucky to have her."

Lehman has been with UToledo since March of 2016 when she assumed a position as a college advisor. In January 2017, she started in SAAS as athletic academic coordinator and coordinator for student-athlete development. Prior to coming to UToledo, Lehman spent two years as an athletic academic advisor at Bowling Green.

Lehman earned her bachelor's degree from Clarion University in 2012, where she majored in mid-level education and was a part of the women's basketball team. She earned a master's degree in academic advising with a concentration in athletics from Kansas State University in 2013. Lehman is an active member of the National Association of Academic Advisors for Athletes. She and her husband Cory Lehman were married in December of 2016, they have two children, Taylor (2) and Leo (1).
