TOLEDO, Ohio - The Toledo women's track and field team is slated to compete against I-75 rival Bowling Green at the BGSU Dual meet on Friday at the Perry Fieldhouse in Bowling Green, Ohio. Field events will begin at 5:00 p.m. and track events will start at 6:00 p.m.

Last Time Out
The Rockets opened indoor competition at the Wolverine Invitational on Saturday with four top-five finishes. Senior Raynesha Lewis won the long jump event, posting a distance of 5.70m. Also in the jumps category, junior Janell Rowe placed fourth in triple jump with a leap of 11.75m. On the track, Stephanie Sherman posted a personal-best of 9:58.07, a 12-second improvement from her previous PR, in the 3,000 meters to place third. Following close behind Sherman was freshman Emily Vining, who stopped the clock at 10:09.16 to take fifth in the 3,000m.

Last Time at the BGSU Dual Meet
The Rockets defeated Bowling Green in both the indoor and outdoor editions of the dual meet. On Jan. 18, 2019, the Rockets defeated the Falcons 70-59. Toledo clinched first in the long jump (Rowe, 5.55m), triple jump (Rowe, 11.38m), high jump (Atalia Lima, 1.63m), 60 meter dash (Shanice Williams, 7.58), mile (Claire Steigerwald, 5:06.38), 800 meters (Petronela Simiuc, 2:13.21), and 3,000 meters (Athena Welsh, 9:37.72). In total, the Midnight Blue and Gold posted 28 top-five finishes.
