Alex Bauer earns sixth Academic All-MAC honor of her career
TOLEDO, Ohio – The Toledo women's track & field team placed seven student-athletes on the Academic All-MAC Team for the 2026 outdoor season, the league office announced. Alex Bauer and Cadence Christie led the Rockets with a 4.00 GPA.
Bauer earned the honor for the sixth time in her career while Bailey Ranta is a four-time honoree. Cadence Christie was named to the Academic All-MAC team for the first time in her Toledo career.
Bella Earl, Gabby Phelan, Hailey Slagle and Lauren Zanotelli are second-time honorees on the Academic All-MAC team for track & field.
To qualify, student-athletes must be a sophomore or higher academic standing, have maintained a 3.20 GPA or higher and competed in 50% of contests during the 2026 outdoor season.
