Mount Pleasant, Mich. – Central Michigan scored touchdowns on its first six possessions on its way to a 49-7 victory over Toledo in Mount Pleasant in the season finale for both teams on Friday.
     The Rockets fell to 6-6, 3-5 MAC with the loss while the Chippewas (8-4, 6-2 MAC) clinched the MAC West Division title and a matchup vs. East Division champion Miami in the MAC Championship Game on Dec. 7.
     The Rockets were led by redshirt freshman Carter Bradley, who completed 15-of-23 passes for 121 yards in his second start at quarterback. Freshman Dequan Finn also saw time at QB, completing 4-of-7 passes for 52 yards while adding 43 yards on the ground.
First Quarter
     CMU got on the board on its first possession on a 48-yard TD pass over the middle from Quinten Dormady to Tyron Scott. The Chippewas got another big play on their next possession, a 32-yard run by Kalil Pimpleton to the UT one-yard one. Two players later, QB Tommy Lazzaro kept it for the one-yard score to increase the lead to 14-0 with 3:59 to play.
Second Quarter
     CMU took advantage of a Toledo offside penalty on fourth down on an attempted field goal to score its third touchdown of the game.  Lazzaro crossed the goal line for the second time on the day, this time from eight yards out to up the lead to 21-0. The Chippewas then made it 28-0 on a three-yard run by Jonathan Ward. Toledo got on a scoreboard on a three-yard touchdown run by Bryant Koback. Kobe Lewis made it 35-7 on a two-yard run with 14 seconds left in the half.
Third Quarter
CMU picked up where it left off, scoring on its first possession. Dormady hit Tony Poljan for a nine-yard touchdown on third down to give Central a 42-7 lead.
Fourth Quarter
     The Chippewas scored their final touchdown of the game on an eight-yard run by Kobe Lewis.

     The Rockets end their regular season and will await word on a possible bowl berth on Dec. 8.
