MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. - The Toledo women's soccer team found itself on the wrong side of the scoreboard, as the Rockets (4-10-0, 1-5-0) fell 3-0 to Central Michigan (7-2-2, 4-2-0) on a rainy Sunday afternoon in mid-Michigan.
The Chippewas opened the scoring by, burying a shot to the back of the net from 12 yards out in the 26th minute. Central Michigan added another goal 10 minutes later when a pass from Marle Bringard fell to Cassidy Pettinger's feet and she tapped it past Rocket goalkeeper
Adrianna Brewer. The Chippewas added an insurance goal in the 48th minute off a header from a corner kick, the first goal off of a corner kick the Rockets have allowed all season.
