Indianapolis, Ind.— The Toledo baseball team put together a comeback win at Butler on Wednesday, taking down the Bulldogs by a score of 9-8.
The Rockets took their first lead in the seventh inning and didn't look back. Freshman
Chris Meyers singled in a pair of runs to tie the game at 6-6, then an RBI ground out from sophomore

Matt Hansen gave UT a two-run cushion.
Hansen and freshman
Trace Hatfield led the way with three hits apiece. Meyers drove in three runs and senior
Dalton Bollinger drove in two, one of which came on a solo shot to left field. Junior Christ Hampton was terrific on the mound, throwing 1.2 scoreless frames and earning the first win of his Toledo career. Senior
Nolan Silberhorn, senior
Axel Bueter, and junior
Nate Haugh all provided excellent pitching for the Rockets as well.
Next up for Toledo is a three-game home series against Mid-American Conference foe Ball State this weekend.
