Scouting the Competition
The Lions are 7-5 entering Tuesday's game. Entering last weekend, they were the NCAA's best team at stealing bases, and that still stands. Southeastern has swiped 45 bags, an average of .375 per game, both of which are tops in the country. Mike Taylor (.356) and Cody Grosse (.347) are the two top hitters on the team, but in Saturday's meeting the Rockets held the pair to a 1-for-9 day. Taylor's 13 RBIs are fourth in the Southland Conference. Out of the bullpen, Jared Biddy and Will Warren have combined for 13.2 scoreless innings.

Rocket Notes
- Boss' grand slam was the first by a Rocket since Ryan Callahan against Ohio on April 20, 2014.
- The only Rocket to reach base in every game this season is Boss. He leads the team in walks with 10 and his .455 on-base percentage is second-highest on the squad.
- Toledo's offense has flexed its muscles the first 10 games this year. UT leads the MAC in home runs (10), doubles (23), and slugging percentage (.428).
- Hansen is slugging a team-high .707, which is fifth-highest in the MAC.
- Shutes has been stingy on the mound when it comes to giving away free bases. In 17.1 innings this season he has walked just two, while striking out 16.
