MUNCIE, Ind. - Toledo (17-10, 8-7 MAC) will look to continue gaining momentum for the upcoming Mid-American Conference Tournament on Saturday, Feb. 24 when the Midnight Blue & Gold travels to West Division rival Ball State (22-4, 11-4 MAC). Tip-off time is set for 2:00 p.m. in Worthen Arena and will be streamed live on ESPN3.
UT is currently in sixth place in the overall MAC standings and sits one game behind Miami (17-9, 9-7 MAC) and Ohio (15-11, 9-7 MAC) for the fourth and fifth spots with only three regular-season contests remaining, respectively. The top four seeds receive an automatic bye to the quarterfinals of the postseason event. Â
If the regular season ended before tomorrow's division match-up, Toledo would be the No. 6 seed in the MAC Tournament and host No. 11 seed arch-rival Bowling Green (10-16, 2-13 MAC) in a first-round contest on Monday, March 5. Â
The Rockets have won their last two games, including an 80-69 home triumph over Eastern Michigan on Wednesday. UT outscored EMU 44-32 in the second half to successfully bounce back from a 70-57 setback against the Eagles (10-16, 6-9 MAC) on Jan. 6 in Ypsilanti.

Jay-Ann Bravo-Harriott tallied 16 of her squad-best 26 points in the second half to pace the 2017 MAC Champions, while junior
Kaayla McIntyre tallied 13 of her 24 after the intermission to help them register their highest-point total in league play.
McIntyre is averaging a squad-best 24.5 points in UT's back-to-back victories, followed closely by Bravo-Harriott at 23.5 ppg.

Mikaela Boyd added 14 points, a game-high 12 caroms, a contest-tying best six helpers and a game-high five thefts to post her ninth double-double on the year.Â
As a team, Toledo shot a season-high 54.5 percent (30-of-55) from the field, including 41.2 percent (7-of-17) from three-point land, and 54.2 percent (13-of-24) from the charity stripe.
UT also did a great job taking care of the basketball, finishing with a season-tying best 25 assists and 13 turnovers. Three Rockets dished out at least five helpers, including a career-high six from McIntyre.Â
Danielle Minott led EMU with a game-high 30 points, shooting 7-of-10 from beyond the arc.Â
The Eagles connected on 40.3 percent (25-of-62) from the floor, but they were restricted to only 34.4 percent (11-of-32) in the second half, as they suffered their seventh loss over the last eight games. Â
UT, which is 6-8 in road games, possesses a balanced attack with McIntyre, Bravo-Harriott and Boyd averaging 15.8, 12.8 and 11.8 ppg, respectively. The trio is accounting for 67.3 percent (669 of 994) of Toledo's scoring in league contests.
Toledo will square off against a streaking BSU squad which has won its last four games, including an 85-58 home triumph against Western Michigan on Wednesday. Jasmin Samz led the Cardinals with 17 points, followed by Destiny Washington with 13 points and a game-high 11 boards.Â
Ball State, which holds a 13-2 ledger at home, features four players tallying at least 11.0 ppg and is led by Moriah Monaco's 17.2 ppg and 1.6 bpg.
UT and BSU will meet for the second time this year and 79th time overall. The Rockets secured a 72-66 triumph against the Cardinals on Jan. 17 in Savage Arena.
Toledo leads the all-time series, 54-24, including a 23-14 advantage in games played in Worthen Arena.Â
A year ago, UT claimed a 76-66 overtime triumph in Muncie to snap a six-game losing skid in the series (March 4).Â
Following tomorrow's contest, Toledo will travel to Northern Illinois (13-13, 5-10 MAC) on Wednesday, Feb. 28. Game time versus the Huskies is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. (CT) in Convocation Center and will be streamed live on ESPN3.
UT and NIU will do battle for the second time this season and 54th time overall. The Rockets registered a 63-60 home victory vs. NIU on Jan. 13 at home.
Toledo leads the all-time series, 34-19, and has won five of the last contests against its division rival. The Huskies hold a slim 13-11 advantage in games played in the Convocation Center, but the Rockets have won the last two meetings on the road.Â
