TOLEDO, Ohio - The Toledo women's soccer team surrendered four goals in the second half to Notre Dame and en route to a 4-0 defeat on Sunday afternoon at Scott Park.
The Rockets (2-4-1) had shots by senior
Isa Echeverri, sophomore
Kelsey Kraft and senior
Chiara Paradiso during the contest. Paradiso's attempt was the lone shot on goal for UT.
Notre Dame (4-2-2) was led by Sandra Yu, who scored a pair of goals on five shots.
Toledo and Notre Dame played an even first half as both teams went to the break scoreless. The Rockets staved off a seven-shot attack by Notre Dame in the first period.

Madison Perrin made both of her two saves for Toledo in the first frame.
Notre Dame broke into the scoring column in the 48th minute on a goal by Sandra Yu. Mere seconds later, the Fighting Irish doubled their lead on a free kick goal by Jennifer Westendorf.
It was all Irish from that point forward as Notre Dame added goalsin the 64th minute by Natalie Jacobs and Yu's second goal of the match in the 65th minute.
Toledo was out-shot 13-3 and did not take a corner kick in the contest.Â
The women's soccer team continues its four-match homestand when it hosts Valparaiso on Sunday, Sept. 17 at 1:05 p.m.
