Honolulu, HI, - Toledo claimed its third-straight victory over Charleston Southern on Thursday afternoon at Hawaii's Rainbow Wahine Softball Stadium. The Rockets bested CSU, 2-1, in eight innings and improves to 8-15 overall, while the Bucs fall to 10-15 on the season.

Samantha Showalter recorded UT's first run after she stole third and crossed the plate on a throwing error by the Bucs' catcher.

CSU evened the score in the sixth frame when Cheyenne Gandara hit a solo home run to center field.

Heather Webb relieved starter
Kailey Minarchick in the seventh frame. Minarchick threw 6.0 innings, allowing five hits and walking two. Webb (3-6) recorded her third win of the season after not giving up a hit in 2.0 frames.

Samantha Golden started the eighth inning on second base. Golden advanced to third on a sacrifice bunt by sophomore 3B
