Honolulu, HI – Toledo fell to No. 20 Utah, 10-1, in five innings in its opening game of Hawaii's Outrigger Spring Fling Tournament on Wednesday afternoon. With the defeat, the Rockets fall to 7-15 on the season, while the Utes improve to 14-4.

Utah started off the scoring in the bottom of the first with a two-run shot to right field.

Katie Cozy (1-for-2) put the Rockets on the scoreboard with a solo homer past the right-field fence in the second inning.

The Utes extended their lead, 4-1, with two nearly identical RBI doubles to left center in the home-half of the second.

Utah added a pair of runs in the fifth off a two-run blast to left center. Freshman
Alissa Noble entered the game to relieve starter
Heather Webb, who soon re-entered after Noble walked two batters. Webb walked another Ute to load the bases, and freshman Kelly Martinez hit a grand slam to end the ball game, 10-1.

Webb (2-6) recorded tonight's loss after throwing 4.2 frames and allowing eight runs on nine hits.
