LAFAYETTE, LA – Toledo will return to the links on Monday-Tuesday, Feb. 27-28 when it participates in the 32nd-annual Louisiana Classics. The two-day tournament will take place at the Oakbourne Country Club (Par-72, 6,898 Yards) and be hosted by the University of Louisiana-Lafayette.
The 54-hole event will begin with a shotgun start at 8:00 a.m. with 36 holes on Monday and a tee time start of 7:30 a.m. with 18 holes on Tuesday.

Four squads are currently ranked in Golfweek's Top 25, led by No. 2 Illinois, No. 3 LSU, No. 20 Texas A&M and No. 25 Kent State.
The Rockets' lineup at the Louisiana Classics will include junior Stephen Watts, freshman Thomas Thurloway, junior Colin Joseph, freshman Joe Bryce and sophomore Spencer Shoemaker. In addition, freshman Grant Godfrey will participate as an individual.

UT, which will take part in the Louisiana Classics for the first time, opened its spring season by finishing 1-1-1 at the Earl Yestingsmeier Match Play event on Feb. 13-14. The Midnight Blue & Gold defeated DePaul, tied Eastern Michigan and lost to Seton Hall to place seventh out of eight teams.
Bryce did not lose a match at the season-opening event and finished 2-0-1, while Joseph and Godfrey emerged victorious in two of the rounds.
At last year's Louisiana Classics, both the team and individual titles came down to the final putt as No. 1 Illinois claimed the team crown for the fourth straight season edging out No. 45 Kansas with a 54-hole score of 15-under par 849. Individually, Kansas' Ben Welle secured medalist honors with a three-round tally of 7-under par 209.
