TOLEDO, OH – Toledo dropped its Sunday match to Miami, 6-1, at Shadow Valley Tennis Club. With the loss, the Rockets drop to 7-10 overall and 1-3 in the conference.
"Today's match was a letdown after competing so well on Friday. We need to work hard this week and be able to show up with good energy for both matches next weekend," said head coach
Tracy Mauntler.
Freshman
Claire Aleck claimed the only victory for the Rockets. Aleck defeated Erin Rodriguez, 7-6, 6-3, at sixth singles.
Toledo welcomes Northern Illinois and Western Michigan to the Glass City next weekend on April 8 and 10, respectively, for a pair of 1:00 p.m. matches.
