Mount Pleasant, MI – The Toledo softball team dropped its Friday game to Central Michigan, 2-1. The Rockets enter Saturday's doubleheader with an 8-29 overall record (3-9 MAC). The Chippewa improve to 16-21 on the season and 3-8-1 in the conference.

Central Michigan's Katelyn Rentschler tied up the score with bomb past center field in the bottom of the fourth. Rentschler then ended the game in the seventh with her second homer of the contest.
