Riley Campbell led the way from the plate for the Rockets after going 2-for-3 with a career-high three RBI and one run scored. Sophomore LF
AJ Montoya added two hits and one RBI, and Martillotta scored two runs and ripped three hits.

Tyler Henry earned the win for the Flyers after pitching 2.0 frames and allowing three runs (two earned) in a controlled start.

Toledo jumped on the board in the second when Campbell reached base on an error from the shortstop. The error brought home Martillotta and freshman RF
Ross Adolph to make the game 2-0. Sophomore
AJ Montoya brought home Campbell on a RBI single to left field to give UT a 3-0 lead.

Dayton grabbed the lead back in the same inning. Mitch Coughlin started the UD rally with a fielder's choice to bring home Mark Giesler. After a Brad Burkhart single cut the UT lead to 3-2, Robbie Doring hit a two-run home run over the left field fence to give the Flyers a 4-3 advantage.

The Flyers extended its lead in the third with a four-run inning. Aaron Huesman hit a solo shot, and Nick Ryan hit a three-run home run to give UD a 8-3 lead.

Dayton added another in the fourth after Doring scored on an error by sophomore 2B
Matt Hansen.
Toledo cut the Flyer lead to 9-4 in the fifth with a Campbell single to left field to score Martillotta.

UD scored one in the bottom of the fifth to take a 10-4 lead with an infield single to the shortstop from Coughlin that scored Ryan.

Dayton extended the advantage to 12-4 in the bottom of the sixth with a Huesman single to right field to score Glenn Jones and a bases loaded balk from RHP junior
Steven Duby.

UT made the game 12-5 as Campbell picked up his third RBI of the day with a single to right field to score Adolph.

The Flyers extended its lead to 14-5 in the eighth with a Giesler two-run home run. UT would cut the lead to 14-6 with a wild pitch that scored junior PH
Jacob Britt.

Toledo will be back in action this weekend with its home and Mid-American Conference opener against Buffalo. The three-game series will begin on Friday, March 25
