RIO VERDE, AZ – Toledo moved into first place following Saturday's second round of the Rio Verde Invitational with a round of six-over 294. The Rockets are at 16-over par 592 (298-294) over 36 holes, two strokes in front of second-place Wichita State (300-294=594) and four ahead of third-place Northern Arizona (299-297=596). The top seven teams are separated by 10 strokes.

Senior Sathika Ruenreong paced the Rockets with a two-under par 70 to move into a second-place tie on the individual leaderboard at even-par 144 (74-70). She sits three strokes behind leader Hanna Lee of Xavier at three-under par 141 (71-70) and is tied with the Shockers' Gavrilla Arya (71-73=144).

Freshman Pimchanok Kawil carded the Rockets' second-best round of the day with a  two-over par 74 and is tied for 59^th place at 12-over par 156 (82-74). Joining Ruenreong in the Top 20 are classmates Manisa Isavas (72-75=147/T-12^th) and Morgan Salm (72-77=149/T-16^th). Rounding out the Rocket lineup is freshmen Natcha Daengpiem tied for 53^rd place at 11-over par 155 (80-75).

Also competing in Arizona for the Rockets were Caitriona Griffin and Napaphan Phongpaiboon at the Quail Run JV Invitational. Griffin carded a one-under 71, while Phongpaiboon posted a five-over par 77.

The tournament's third round will begin with 8:00 a.m. (PST) shotgun starts on Sunday.
