ESTERO, FL – Toledo shot a 17-over par 305 to remain in second place following Saturday's second round of this weekend's FGCU Eagle Invitational. UT trails No. 55 Mercer by 13 strokes and is one shot in front of third-place Elon.
Senior
Sathika Ruenreong and freshman
Pimchanok Kawil paced the Rockets today with three-over par 75s. Ruenreong leads UT in the individual standings and is tied for 10
th place at seven-over par 151 (76-75), while Kawil is tied for 17
th place at nine-over par 153 (78-75).
Freshman
Natcha Daengpiem is tied for 13th place at eight-over par 152 (75-77), and senior
Manisa Isavas is tied for 17
th place with Kawil with rounds of 75 and 78. Senior
Morgan Salm rounds out the Rocket lineup at 11-over par 155 (76-79) and is tied for 29
th place.
"We didn't play quite as well today than the opening round but we're still in contention," Head Coach
Nicole Hollingsworth said. "Our putting was an area we struggled, and if we can turn that around tomorrow I think we have a shot."
