Rockets Finish in 19th Place at Furman Intercollegiate

Greenville, SC - Toledo finished in 19th place at the 36th annual Furman Intercollegiate. USC-Aiken captured the team title by firing a final-round 301 to become the first Division II team to win the Furman Intercollegiate in the tournament's 36-year history.
Senior Justin Bertsch led the Rockets with a 50th-place finish at 226 (73-78-75) and was followed by freshman Renaud Langevin in 66th place at 228 (72-78-78), freshman Justin Hull in 76th place at 230 (77-76-77), freshman Ciaran McAleavey in 83rd place at 232 (77-76-79) and junior Martin McTernan in 106th place at 242(78-83-81).
UNC-Greensboro placed fourth after recording a 289 for the low team round of the day on Sunday, and Coastal Carolina fired a 291 and Charlotte shot 293 to finish in a tie for second. USC-Aiken, the defending NCAA Division II champions, have won seven team titles so far this season, including Sunday's three-stroke victory.
Toledo returns to action next weekend with a trip to Augusta, GA and an appearance in the Augusta State Invitational on Saturday and Sunday, April 2-3.
