* Head Coach Stan Joplin moved into second place on the Rockets' all-time win list with 143 career victories and now only trails Bob Nichols who has a MAC-best 376 wins.

* The Rockets now lead the all-time series vs. Ball State by a 35-31 margin and have won three straight vs. the Cardinals at Savage Hall.

* UT is now 4-0 at home this season and has won 16 of its last 17 home games.

* Toledo limited Ball State to a 34.5 field-goal percentage for the lowest shooting mark by a Rocket opponent this season. The Cardinals' eight assists were also a season low for a UT opponent.

* The Rockets shot a season-best 42.9 percent from three-point range led by sophomore guard Justin Ingram's season-best 3-for-4 performance from behind the arc.

* The Rockets had four players score in double figures for the first time this season.

* Toledo has registered 10 or more steals in seven of its last eight games and has forced 19 or more turnovers in six of its last eight contests.

* The Rockets' 31 free-throw attempts were their second-highest total this season and only ranked behind UT's 36 attempts vs. Lake Superior State.

* Freshman guard Kashif Payne played a season-high 27 minutes and dished out a season-high eight assists with just one turnover to raise his assist/turnover ratio to a team-best 2.12. The eight assists equaled the highest total by a Rocket guard this season.

* Senior guard Keith Triplett grabbed a season- and team-high seven rebounds and also made a season-high nine free throws en route to his team-best 16 points.

* Sophomore guard Keonta Howell finished second on the team with 14 points for his fifth double-digit scoring outing of the season.

* Junior forward Anton Currie started his second straight game and equaled his career high with two blocked shots.
