· Toledo has lost three straight games to Western Michigan (all in Kalamazoo) after winning six in a row and nine of its last 10 over the Broncos. All three losses have come in Kalamazoo.

· The Rockets have lost two games in a row for the first time this season.

· Freshman forward Florentino Valencia led the Rockets in scoring by equaling his season high with 14 points in 18 minutes of action. Valencia also matched his season high with two blocked shots and ranks second on the team with 0.4 bpg.

· Senior guard Keith Triplett and sophomore guard Sammy Villegas were both limited to eight points apiece. It was only the third time this season the Rockets' two leading scorers were held out of double figures.

· Triplett registered three steals and has grabbed three or more steals in five of the Rockets' last six games. He leads the MAC with 2.52 steals per game and also moved into second place on UT's career steals list tonight past Robert Kizer (1995-99) with 182.

· Villegas extended his streak of making a three-point field goal to 49 straight games.

· Freshman guard Keonta Howell equaled his season highs with eight points and four rebounds.
